Hand in Hand Initiative

No one comes out surviving the war in Gaza. who surrendered part of his body lost the other, and who surrendered his whole body lost some of his soul, and who lost his family and loved ones lost his whole soul.
The psychological rehabilitation of Gaza residents is the most difficult task in the current situation, and children are the largest sector that needs intensive psychological care at the present time, and for return the terrified children to a peaceful sleep without nightmares.
Sabaya Embroidery project created a community initiative under the name “Hand in Hand”, which aims to contribute to improving the psychological status of Gazian children affected by the recent Israeli aggression against Gaza through conducting recreation and motivation courses in the field of Palestinian Embroidery and handicrafts during summer vacation period.
During those courses, children participants will use their time in useful activity, overcome the fears they experienced during the war, in addition, Sabaya Embroidery will keep the Palestinian heritage by teaching the new generation
Sabaya Embroidery is located in Al-Rimal neighborhood - Gaza City, the area most exposed to destruction - as the project is located next to Al-Wahda Street, which claimed the lives of many martyrs, children and women, among these martyrs were children who were with us during the summer vacation of last year
Hence the idea of the initiative to hold courses free of charge for children, as we hope to support the initiative financially, which will attract more children.
